Sometimes you trust me with very personal things: your story, your cycle, your address. Here you can read, in plain language, what I do with it, and what I don’t.

Who I am
This website belongs to Ninalotte Roose, hormone health coach, author and host of the La Vie en Roose podcast. I am responsible for the personal data collected through this site.

What I collect, and why
Hand in Hand waitlist
Your first name, your email address, the programme that speaks to you and what you tell me about why you’re here. That last part may include information about your health. I only use it to see whether I can truly help you, and to let you know when the programmes open. I do this based on your consent, which you give by ticking the box. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
Ordering books
Your name, email address, (optionally) phone number, shipping address and what you order. I need these to process, ship and invoice your order. The payment itself goes through Mollie: I never see your bank or card details.
Newsletter and journal
My newsletter and articles run on Substack. If you subscribe there, Substack’s terms also apply. You can unsubscribe at the bottom of every email.
If you email me
I only use what you send me to reply to you.
Who I share data with
I never sell your data and never share it for advertising. I do work with a few trusted services that make the site and my work possible:
- Vercel: hosting of this website.
- Google Workspace: my mailbox and the secure spreadsheet where orders and sign-ups are kept.
- Mollie: payment processing.
- bpost: shipping your books (name and address only).
- Substack: the newsletter and journal.
Some of these services are American. They work with the safeguards European rules require for data processed outside the EU.
How long I keep data
- Waitlist: until the programmes open and I’ve contacted you, and for two years at most. After that I delete your details, unless you start a programme with me.
- Orders: as long as accounting law requires me to keep invoices.
- Emails: as long as needed to handle your question.
Cookies and statistics
This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. I only measure anonymous visitor numbers with Vercel Web Analytics, without cookies and without recognising you. The fonts load through Google Fonts, which means Google sees your IP address.
Your rights
You can always ask which data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its use, or receive a copy. Email hello@ninalotteroose.com and I’ll reply within a month. If you’re not happy with how I handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
Terms of sale for books
- Prices are in euros, including VAT. You see the shipping costs clearly before you pay.
- Shipping is with bpost, to Belgium and the Netherlands. Every book is signed.
- Right of withdrawal: you can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. Let me know by email and return the book undamaged within 14 days after that. Return shipping is at your cost. I refund the purchase price, including the original shipping costs, within 14 days of receiving the book back.
- Damaged or not received? Email me with a photo or your order number and we’ll find a solution together.
Hand in Hand
My guidance does not replace medical care, diagnosis or treatment. With symptoms or a diagnosis, you stay under your doctor’s care; I work alongside them, never instead of them. The practical arrangements for a programme (sessions, payment, cancellation) are shared with you in writing before you start.
